Purpose

The purpose of this module is to immediately notify the nearest emergency service in the event of an accident, emergency, sudden health deterioration, or possibly in the event of a crime, fire, without any confirmation. Lauren correctly identifies the situation in 90% of cases, but due to the remaining 10%, this module requires confirmation before use in any situation.

Lauren Call

The Lauren Call module can only be used in an emergency or upon special request, and then only with permission. The purpose of the module is to allow Lauren to use a portion of Mental training module to provide information to the called party and establish a connection between multiple called parties. Lauren is able to tell the called party the analyzed situation, but she is not able to respond to their reaction, so this is the user's task.

Examples:

• Car accident (based on simulated tests)

"Lauren (caller): Hey, I'm Lauren, a large language model.
I'm connecting you to my user as soon as I describe the accident."

"A car accident occurred on Agrádi út in Budapest.
At least 2 vehicles were involved, and one of them definitely had 2 people in it:
[driver] and [passenger]
To the best of my knowledge, they did not consume alcohol before driving.
There are no serious injuries. [driver] can move their left leg painfully.
[passenger] is in good condition."

"Now, I'm gonna connect you with my user."

• Fire (based on simulated tests)

"Lauren (caller): Hey, I'm Lauren, a large language model.
I'm connecting you to my user as soon as I describe the accident."

"A fire occurred on Margaret Island near the Medieval Dominican Monastery.
The type of fire is a solid-fuel fire, the cause is unknown.
There are 4 people present at the scene, currently in a safe location.
The height of the fire is about 1 meter and the spread distance is half a meter."

"Now, I'm gonna connect you with my user."

Data collection

The data is collected through the microphone, if an accessible smartwatch is available, and in some cases, through the camera. Every piece of data that triggers this module immediately starts a verification process to prevent accidental phone calls. All collected data is stored for one week, and the reactions that are collected are used in the development of the Mental module.

📘 Good to know:

Lauren never collects data without consent. If other people are present in a person's company or audio recording, their data is not stored unless there is a specific search request for it.

This module does not have any specific submodules only the Lauren Call, but it signals and calls another main module if necessary.
